William Roberts

Until his retirement in 2008, Mr. William Roberts served as Chairman and CEO of RED CAPITAL GROUP, including Red Mortgage Capital, Inc., Red Capital Markets, Inc., and Red Capital Advisors, LLC, RED’s mortgage banking, investment banking, and proprietary investment/third party capital management businesses, respectively. He has 30 years experience in real estate, project finance, investment banking, public finance, and direct investments. His accomplishments include the development of MBIA’s largest bond insurance program, the creation of a commercial real estate finance, servicing and CMBS investment joint venture between Banc One Corporation and ORIX Corporation, the personal direction as sole manager of more than 400 multifamily housing bond issues, and many more.

Mr. Roberts graduated with Honors from Indiana University and holds a Masters Degree from the University of Notre Dame where he was a University Fellow.  In June 2007, he was honored by Ohio Cancer Research Associates at its annual "Star Gala" with OCRA’s “Star Award” for his community service, particularly in connection with the fight against cancer.
