Mr. Michael Saad leads the Squire Sanders real estate practice while continuing to focus his practice on corporate banking, real estate, real estate finance, joint ventures, equity funds, low-income housing tax credits, new markets tax credits, rehabilitation tax credits, community development and government-financed housing law. Mr. Saad has served on the firm’s management committee and is listed in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Business Lawyers 2008. He has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America since 1995 and has been named an Ohio Super Lawyer. He also received Ohio Capital Corporation’s Founder’s Award for his service as general counsel to the company since its inception in 1989.
His experience includes representing equity investors, financial institutions and other lenders and developers in a variety of debt, equity and mezzanine financings and syndications, as well as the acquisition and development of real estate.
