Pheasant Run Chosen for 'Realtor Care Day'

Congratulations to Pheasant Run! The property was chosen by the Pickerington Board of Realtors for their fifth annual Realtor Care Day.

Realtor Care Day is an opportunity for members to work collectively to improve housing in the community. Organized by the Columbus Housing Partnership (CHP) the event took place on June 10th with 80 volunteers from both CHP and Pheasant Run. The Pickerington Board donated $1000 to purchase supplies and plants. CHP also arranged for Mobile Tool to provide wheel barrels, shovels, and gardening equipment.

The hard work of the volunteers gave the Pheasant Run community a new enhanced look. Improvements to the property included:

• All buildings were power washed
• Pond areas and drainage ditches were cleared of overgrowth
• Two new flower beds were constructed – one near the entrance of the property and one in front of the community building
• The flower bed around the property sign was expanded
