At
Wallick, much of 2009 was focused on identifying and initiating programs
to improve service delivery to our customers – both property owners
and residents. As we move into 2010, we are expanding this effort to include
another important group we serve - our employees. With the full intention
of making Wallick “a great place to work,” we have launched
the Wallick Associate Development Program.
Beginning
January 1, we implemented the concept of “associates” companywide.
This is a deliberate action to help make everyone who works at Wallick
feel that they are partners in our success and that we are all working
toward shared goals.
Launching
“Wallick University”
To better support our associates’ continued learning and development,
we are enhancing and expanding our training program. Now called “Wallick
University,” the program will help with the training and education
of associates at all levels of the company.
Among
the components of Wallick University:
-
New Associate Training and Orientation (NATO)
-
Annual Associate Training & Recognition Event
-
Mentoring Program to complement NATO by helping new and veteran associates
who are taking on new roles to transition into their positions
-
Certification Programs
As
the year progresses, we’ll be strengthening other portions of the
Wallick Associate Development Program, such as implementing innovative
changes to our benefits package; and announcing new initiatives like an
associate wellness program and customized associate career development
plans.
This
is one of several mindful and intentional steps underway to help move
us from good to great. We will share more of them with you in the months
to come. |
